Meet Jasmine!

Hi guys! My name is Jasmine Morris. I'll be your instructor within this course. I'm a successful Self-Published author of "Returning Home." With my book landing with Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, Amazon and more, I felt led to share what I learned along my personal self-publishing journey. Through my journey, I've learned so much about self-publishing and desire to have others come into the knowledge of this information as well. I absolutely love writing, almond-milk in my coffee, blogging at nosweetername.com and inspiring others to write what God has placed inside of them.     This course includes: Five intentional sessions filled with content about writing, marketing, resources and executing the self-publishing process. I also provide resources that will equip you for the journey. You will also receive three documents: an official self-publishing checklist, a pricing guide, and a resource document. Let's face it. You may not have the time to look for resources as an aspiring author. Within this course, I have put together a well thought out list of web designers, graphic designers, book editors and more. Both inexpensive services and services you will have to invest in.

  • Writing

    Writing a book can feel intimidating, but I have created a four-step guide that will keep you consistent and inspired on the journey ahead. We will discuss how to identify your writing strengths, how to identify your target audience and how to remain disciplined in the process.

  • Marketing

    As a first time author, you might be tempted to overlook the branding and marketing stage of your book. But this is--one of the most important stages you must take seriously. Within this session, we will discuss the importance of marketing your book authentically. We will learn about Search Engine Optimization, Digital Marketing, identifying your audience, voice and more.

  • Finances

    I have a secret. Are you ready? I spent under $2000 to publish my book and it probably could have been less than that. However, I chose to invest in a small team. I want to teach you how to SAVE money; first starting with this course. I PROMISE if you apply these tips I give you, you will save money too. Most importantly, I want to teach you how to make money from your book and learn how to become profitable BEFORE your book launches.

  • Execution

    And finally, we will discuss how to publish your book FOR FREE on Kindle Direct Publishing. I will explain the step by step guide to actually publishing and printing your manuscript online. Also, you will learn how to distribute your book on Amazon, Barnes and Noble and MORE.

  • Encouragement

    Let's be honest, you are going to need encouragement along the way. Repeat after me: I will write my book! Did you say it? How did you feel afterward? Empowered?
